“The Winemaker” is a store in Mevasseret Zion, Israel, that offers all of the equipment and materials to make terrific beer and wine at home. We conduct monthly beer making courses and schedule one winemaking course every year during the grape harvest season.
Home brewing equipment includes: Brewing pots, primary and secondary fermentors, beer bottles, bottle fillers, cappers, etc. We are the largest provider of custom beer brewing systems and wort chillers in Israel. Our extensive inventory of beer making ingredients includes: malted grains, malt extract (both liquid and dry), a huge selection of hops, and numerous beer yeasts.
Our line of Boutique Beer is called “Isra-Ale”. We make and stock 10 different beers and our “Wicked Ale” won first place in the dark ale category at the Ma’abarot Beer Festival in 2008.
Wine making equipment includes: Grape crushers, grape presses, fermentation tanks, demijohns, corkers, wine bottles, and corks. We stock several varieties of honey for mead making and provide fresh wine grapes from vineyards throughout Israel.
Our line of Boutique Wine is called “Pamela”. We produced eight different red and white wines in 2008, Our white wine is some of the best in Israel!
